Uni Pure Malt Jetstream 4&1 Review: 0.7mm Ink and Oak

Uni Pure Malt Jetstream Inside 4&1 is a wood-accented multi pen: four 0.7mm Jetstream ballpoints plus a 0.5mm mechanical pencil. The oak comes from whisky barrels. Choose it when you actually use several ink colors and prefer the appearance of reclaimed wood.
What are the five writing functions?
Black, red, blue and green 0.7mm ballpoints cover everyday notes, correction marks and color coding. The pencil uses 0.5mm lead for erasable writing. Those two sizes refer to different mechanisms; the entire pen is not a 0.7mm pencil.
How does Pure Malt compare with Karimoku 4&1?
Marukaku's Pure Malt 4&1 offers a broader 0.7mm ink ball. The Karimoku 4&1 listing uses finer 0.5mm ink balls and a different wood-grip story based on furniture offcuts. Both include a 0.5mm pencil. If you tend to fill narrow planner spaces, the 0.5mm Karimoku may be preferable; if you like a bolder ballpoint size, consider Pure Malt.
Who should choose a single pen instead?
A multi pen carries several mechanisms in one barrel. If you rarely change ink color, the Pure Malt Jetstream Single is a simpler black-ink choice. Natural grain varies, so a photographed wood pattern is not an exact promise for the pen you receive.
