Sun-Star Animal Eraser Review: Shiba and Cat Designs

The Sun-Star Animal Eraser turns ordinary pencil erasing into a small reveal: as the block wears down, its outline becomes more like the animal. Marukaku carries Shiba Inu and Hachiware cat designs. The choice between them is visual; they share the same idea.

How does the animal shape appear?

The eraser starts as a more regular block. Normal use removes material around the edges and gradually changes the silhouette. The result depends on where and how you erase. It does not show the final animal outline straight out of the package, and the shape is part of the fun rather than a special erasing mechanism.

Shiba Inu or Hachiware cat?

Pick the character you prefer or one that suits a small gift. Both are pencil-case-sized items as they wear down. Every eraser gets smaller with use, so consider a larger plain block if maximum material for long drawing sessions is your priority.

Does it erase better than a standard block?
